The National Council of Churches of Christ in the U.S.A. (NCC) in coordination with Friendship Press and the Society of Biblical Literature (SBL) has just launched a series of Q & A’s regarding the upcoming New Revised Standard Version Updated Edition (NRSVue). (eBible expected November 18, 2021).
A 34-page PDF sampler is available through email signup. It includes:
- Foreword,
- “To the Reader,”
- Preface,
- Official Testament naming conventions,

When will the NRSV updated version be in print?
Great question. Officially, it should be in print beginning tomorrow, Sunday, May 1, 2022 (according to friendshippress.org). I’ve yet to find which of all publishers are releasing it. So far, I know only:
